3-stage rockets - modern artillery - delta wing - military engineering - missile warfare tactics - reinforced gunpowder etc etc / Kazimierz Siemienowycz (ca. 1600 – after 1651) . Kazimierz Siemienowycz is an almost forgotten figure. Born in today's Belarus, this artillery engineer received a thorough education and gained experience on the battlefield in Western Europe, serving the United Provinces of the Netherlands.. Years later he returned to Poland, but it was not his service to the king that made his name appear in this article. Siemenowycz's life's work was the book "Artis Magnae Artilleriae pars prima", i.e. "The Great Art of Artillery, Part One". One might shrug, after all, one book doesn't seem like a spectacular achievement. However, this is only an appearance.

The treatise on artillery was a unique and outstanding work, and Siemenowycz turned out to be a genius on par with Leonardo da Vinci - he possessed almost all the knowledge of metallurgical technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, war and mechanics at that time. His book was translated into many languages and became the basis of education in artillery schools throughout Europe for a century and a half. Without exaggerating, we can say that Kazimierz Siemienowycz is the person who gave Europe modern artillery.
