DORSEYLAND - LEONARD COPSEY

This interview with Leonard Copsey by Phil Dorsey took place on March 13, 2015 and in the interview, Leonard noted he and his wife Josephine were married on Friday the 13th and their marriage lasted more than seventy years. They raised seven children, and, between them and grandchildren, operated more than a half dozen seafood restaurants in St. Mary's County, Maryland. Leonard recalled his many efforts during the Great Depression and into the 21st century, including a thriving bootlegging operation.
