Paduana Lachrymae (Sorrowful Pavane) - Sweelinck | Seven Sorrows of Our Lady

Br. Anthony Neyrot plays the Sorrowful Pavane of Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck (1562 - 1621) in honor of Our Lady of Sorrows and her seven dolors. The addition of the organ is meant to enrich the solo harpsichord. This rendition ends with the combination of the harpsichord's gentle lute stop and the delicately undulating 8' Trichterregal stop of the Schuke organ of the Predigerkirche.
