A fisherman in the US was swept out to sea during Hurricane Milton, but managed to save himself by using a refrigerator as a liferaft. His boat broke down hours before the hurricane hit.

Rescuers found him a day later, 30 miles (50 km) off Florida's coast, clinging to the fridge that had drifted out to sea.
