"I look at it from the perspective of self-assembling and self-replicating nanotechnology, because this is, remember this is still nanotechnology, and this aspect of nanotechnology or the danger to the extinction of species was discussed 20 and 30 years ago. It's even in Ray Kurzweil's book, speaking about the singularities near, where it was discussed that if nanotechnology builds self-assembling machines, and that these machines can self replicate and that then is unchecked and uncontrollable by those who manufacture it, then there can be what's called a gray goose scenario. What does that mean? That these machines use up the energy of the material world and exterminate all life on earth. And this sounds like a big thing, but in fact, these experts like Dr. Drexler and Kurzweil, and they were all aware of this. So machines can be biological machines because now with synthetic biology and nanotechnology, the fusion of it has created artificial machines from organic material, from RNA, from DNA. And so this is the context in which I think is the danger to our species. And what I'll show today is that the liposome, the encapsulation of these replicones themselves can self replicate, which I've already shown in the blood. So there's a lot to consider here."
