Tapper Says Harris Not Doing Enough Events: ‘Doesn‘t Feel Like October with the Schedules I‘m Looking at’; Trump ‘Has the Edge Right Now’

TAPPER: “Do you — she did — she did do a town hall today with Univision that’s going to air this evening. But are you surprised that she’s not doing, like, five events a day? Like, barnstorming? I mean, there’s only 26 days, barnstorming every battleground state, three or four events a day. Forget the interview thing, okay? I realize I’m biased as a Reporter, I want more interviews.”

DUBKE: “More local news, though.”

TAPPER: “But the local news interviews, town halls — like, it just seems like — it doesn’t feel like October with the schedules I’m looking at for both of them. But I kind of think he has the edge right now.”

FINNEY: “Well, I don’t know if I agree with that.”

TAPPER: “Not the edge thing, but what about, like, how active — what about how active the campaign is?”

FINNEY: “I think they’re being very active. And look, she also has her day job. We do have — we did just have a tremendous storm come through Florida. She was here in Washington to help deal with that to some degree, but I think you’re going to see that activity kick up over the next several weeks, as it should, by the way.”
