Trying out We Could Be Heroes demo

A fun side scrolling beat up game akin to the Streets of Rage and Final Fights games of yesteryear.

I did say that style trumps graphics but this could be made better.

Well, it's pre-alpha demo after all, things can only look up from this point on.

With all the destruction players can cause, I can easily see a system implemented (labeling you as either a Hero or a Vigilante) that rates the destruction caused by the players and either penalize or reward the player with either bonuses or penalties, depending on what you consider a penalty based on your playing style.

It could even affect the ending? Maybe? Well, that's just a little prediction on my part. The game is centered around beating up thugs in an attempt to clean up the streets (I don't recommend doing this in real life of course, for obvious reasons).

The civilian NPCs need to be more identifiable to be honest, other than the obvious grandma. I had a tough time identifying the other civilians and the street thugs...
