When God Says No

To the believers, God always promised to answer our prayers. However, He doesn't always say "yes." In fact, many times it's the opposite. We see it in the lives of Paul, King David, Saul, and many others. It's natural for most of us to react as children. "God said no, so that means He doesn't love me!" But is that the truth? Above all else, God is sovereign. He has a plan that He set in motion before creation and time began. He also knows what's best for us. Sometimes, the things we ask for aren't to fulfill our duty as servants to him, but to fulfill our own lusts. Ultimately, it is another tool that God uses to build our faith in Him. Tonight, we discuss those times when God's answer is a firm "No."

Serving God with all that I am until He takes me home.
