Scarlet Woman: The Wife of Aleister Crowley

Rose Edith Kelly Crowley (23 July 1874 – 11 February 1932) was the first wife of occult writer, mountaineer, hunter and dark magician #Aleister Crowley, whom she married in 1903 at the age of 29. It was his first marriage, and her second. In 1904, she aided #Crowley in #Cairo on their honeymoon, working together on #thebookofthelaw . In this book, Crowley discussed much of his pagan philosophy and religion, #Thelema . But after the death of their daughter Lilith in 1906, the Crowley marriage fell apart at #Boleskinehouse in #LochNess .
