Smashed Sausage Bagel Sandwiches | Blackstone Griddles
Hussey shows how to kick off the morning with Smashed Sausage Bagel Sandwiches, made with spicy brown sugar sausage, melted cheese, and a perfectly fried egg. A bit of sriracha adds just the right heat to his tasty breakfast twist.

Ingredients
1 lb breakfast sausage
3 Everything bagels
6 slices of American cheese
3 eggs
2 teaspoons Blackstone Spicy Brown Sugar seasoning
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon mayo
1 tomato (sliced)
Hot sauce (optional)
1-2 teaspoons Everything bagel seasoning
Directions
1. Preheat the griddle on low. While heating, divide the sausage into 2.5 oz balls.
2. Cut the bagels in half and set the griddle to medium/high heat in the center.
3. Cook the sausage patties: Place the sausage balls on the griddle and season with Spicy Brown Sugar seasoning. Smash the patties using parchment paper and cook for 2 minutes on the first side.
4. Toast the bagels: Add butter to the griddle and toast the bagel halves on both sides for about 2 minutes until golden.
5. Flip the sausage patties and add a slice of American cheese on each one. Let the cheese melt while the sausage continues cooking.
6. Cook the eggs: Add more butter to the griddle and crack the eggs onto the surface. Cook until the whites are set, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
7. Assemble the sandwiches: Spread mayo on the bottom half of each toasted bagel. Add the sausage patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, an egg, and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on top. Place the top half of the bagel to complete the sandwich.
8. Optional: Drizzle with hot sauce for extra flavor.
