Forest Escape Cutting Firewood, Gator Hauling Wood, Splitting Wood and Fingers, Storm Mud in the Run

The seasons are changing so we need to prepare for winter at the homestead! More wood is needed for the second half of the winter. Red oak has fallen in the forest and is ready for cutting and splitting! The John Deere Gator hauls a big load. Grandkids load the Gator with dried wood from last year and stack the firewood on the back deck. Raynaud's fingers from the cold. Recovering from storm mud in the chicken run. The garden is yielding lots of peppers and more tomatoes. Fun in the forest escape!
