This story began being written in March of 2019 while sitting almost every night for over 150 nights of ICU care at the bedside of my son, Walker. He had been vaping and was struck ill by a highly virulent virus.

Writing gave me a solitary purpose to carry out a dream while quietly supporting my son as he recovered and returned home in late July 2019. This story may touch your heart and help open your eyes to an enduring truth that is the reality of this world.
