"On Pain" (1934) he rejects the liberal values of security, ease, comfort and measures man in his capacity to withstand pain and sacrifice. I mentioned several of his books: Storm of Steel (1920), "On the Marble Cliffs (1933), "The Altered World" (1933), "The Peace" (1943), The Glass Bees (1957).
