Israel says it killed senior Hezbollah commander in Beirut

Hezbollah has carried out a series of overnight strikes on Israeli targets.

The group says it targeted the Glilot military base near Tel Aviv. It houses the Mossad headquarters -

Israel's intelligence agency. Hezbollah also launched a number of missiles early on Monday.

The Israeli army says about 190 rockets were fired at the port city of Haifa, penetrating the Iron Dome defence system.
