10.10.2024 CP00862 - Coondoo St Garden Beds (1)

With Mareeba Shire Council receiving another $200,000 in grant money, after the $150,000 they said they had back in May 2022 'disappeared', we are documenting the current poor state of these garden beds so we can see EXACTLY what they do with this money.
Although far from the worst garden bed in the street, this one down at the Bottom Pub will be it's own forest soon...we counted at least 6 'weed trees' growing in this bed alone.
Keep in mind that ALL of the Fig Trees in these garden beds are 'Heritage Listed'.
A Deed of Agreement with Queensland Government is being developed. Works to commence once agreement is signed.
