ALLATRA TV presents our guest speaker, Dr. Thomas Albrecht-Schmitt, Gregory R. Choppin Professor of Chemistry, Director of the Center for Actinide Science and Technology, Florida State University.

On June 1, 2020 at 11:00 EST (or 15:00 GMT), We will talk live on topics of radiochemistry, solid state chemistry, synthesis, and catalysis with Dr. Albrecht-Schmitt. Our speaker will talk about the discoveries of highly sensitive ionizing radiation, the so-called Photoluminescent Uranyl Organic Framework, Einstein's law of relativity and its use in the laws of quantum mechanics, besides the relation between the human health from radiation and the environment will be touched in this interview. Dr. Albrecht-Schmitt is a condensed matter experimentalist who will give answers to the following questions:

How does the process of obtaining a new chemical element take place?
What is a practical application of a new element? How stable are they?
How does it happen that a certain combination of neutrons, protons, electrons are built in a certain way, and this sets all the physicochemical properties?
Is it possible to create a material that would effectively neutralize ionizing radiation?
How do you envision the community you work with as a creative society?

“Creative Society” is the project of ALLATRA International Public Movement.
