Stand Up For Idaho’s October 9th Town Hall features Brian Murdock in our continuing effort to understand the ‘water wars’ occurring in Idaho.

Brian is a 5th generation Idahoan, farming 2,000 acres with his brother, Robert. Their family has been growing potatoes in Idaho since 1889. Brian has been in the middle of Idaho’s water issues for twenty years and water is part of Brian’s heritage. His ancestors dug canals and helped make Idaho’s water laws. Brian has found himself at the center of the curtailment issues and has appeared on National Media explaining the situation. Brian jokes that he speaks four languages: English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Water.

This is a continuing effort to help us understand the ‘water wars’ occurring in Idaho and what we can do about them.
