A part of why everything is ugly nowadays is because they are turning our culture into a narcissistic and atheistic one. Narcissism is inherently atheistic because religion requires self denial. Only religious societies can create things of beauty, which requires sacrifice, strife, and building upon the work of the past and building for the next generation.
