Fees are important

Not all managers are the same. They can pitch you this is what you would have gotten if you were in my funds over the last 20 years versus what you actually received. But at the end of the day, most of these people are dinosaurs, and they do what they are told to do they never actively seek new methods or try to learn anything new.
