Iconic Tropicana Las Vegas hotel implodes to make way for stadium

The Tropicana Las Vegas, a legendary hotel and casino in Las Vegas, was imploded in the early hours of Wednesday (October 9) to make way for a future baseball stadium. Arik Knowles, the hotel's vice president, said the Tropicana "didn’t just stand on the strip because of its architecture, it stood because of the people."
