DEVOTIONAL: Christian, You Are Not Investing According to Biblical Standards

Most Christians believe all they have to do is follow a formula for investing, prescribed by #WallStreet, to guarantee #retirement. However, this is not what the #Bible teaches.

Today, Mike discusses the third redemptive economic principle which involves leveraging our wealth of knowledge and unique, God-given gifts to contribute to human flourishing. We can't do this with our wealth trapped in the #stockmarket.

GOD'S DOMINION & OUR #STEWARDSHIP
1) Principle #1 - We acknowledge God’s dominion over all resources, and the authority of Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit. Our role, through “secondary sovereignty,” granted to us by God, is to steward His resources.

2) Principle #2 - We trust in God’s goodness, living with an abundance
mentality and enthusiasm to be “fruitful and multiply.”

3) Principle #3 - As stewards of God’s resources we invest in what we know and understand, and what allows us to leverage our wealth of knowledge and unique, God-given gifts.
