On Day 242 of sobriety, I started writing the first page of my book, and I must say, it feels fantastic! I haven't written in a while, and diving back into it reminds me how much I missed it. The reason I picked this track, The Big Push's cover of "War Pigs," is because of all the wars happening around the world right now. It brought back memories of a significant moment from my childhood—seeing the fall of the Berlin Wall on TV. I must’ve been around 9 years old when I saw a man climb up with a sledgehammer and start breaking it down. That memory still pops up from time to time, reminding me of how strange it was to grow up when Germany was divided like that.

I also reflected on how sometimes making these daily videos feels tiring and even a bit boring. But this commitment isn't about YouTube views or subscribers—it's about me keeping a promise to myself, for once. I pledged to do this for a year, and I'm going to see it through.

When it comes to the music, The Big Push absolutely nailed it with their cover of "War Pigs." What an incredible performance—I'm in awe!
