Chicken Biryani (চিকেন বিরিয়ানি)

Chicken biryani recipe:

Part 1: Marinate chicken (Please watch the video for the quantities of spices given)

Sunflower oil
Salt to taste
Ground mixed spice powder (versatile powder)
Turmeric powder
Zeera powder
Coriander powder
Mint sauce
Red food colour
Lemon dressing
Methi (a little bit)
Yogurt
Full Chicken
The secret ingredient is ''Fajita Seasoning mix'' from Lidl (গোপন উপাদান হল Lidl থেকে Fajita সিজনিং মিশ্রণ)
Marinate overnight or Marinate for 1 to 3 hours.
(keep in the fridge)

Part 2: Curry sauce

3 tablespoon sunflower oil
3 medium onions, chopped
1.5 tablespoon salt (or to taste)
1 large pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon mixed spice
1 tablespoon turmeric
0.5 tablespoon coriander powder
0.5 tablespoon zeera
Cook until mixture has cooked through

Part 3: Rice

Wash 6 cups of rice
Add sufficient water to rice to allow it to cook in the rice cooker
Add 3 cardamom, 3 cloves, 1 star anise, 2 bay leaves, 1 cinnamon stick, 2 tablespoons ghee and salt to taste to water and rice mix
Allow the rice cooker to cook the rice, after the rice is cooked add food coloring (this is optional)

Part 4: Mix the cooked chicken (Part 2) and rice mix (Part 3) together while on the lowest cooker heat.
