Pokrovsk: Ukraine's FINAL Stand After Vulhedar

Ukrainian Defence ministry remains awfully quiet about the loss of #vulhedar. No one is sure what happened to the 72nd brigade that defended it. Has the entire brigade been destroyed? Some soldiers who managed to escape give slightly conflicting stories but one thing in common is that that brigade is battle-weary having not been rotated since 2022 and took heavy if not catastrophic losses defending the fortress city. There is also some difference in opinion as to how important the loss of #ugledar was for #ukraine and #russia. Western independent analysts think its loss offers little logistical advantage to Russia, while others see it as a heavy blow to Ukraine. As to Russia's next moves, the UK defence Ministry suspects that Russia will assault #Velika Novoselka along with Bohoyavlenka next, while Ukrainian Commanders prepare to defend #kurakhove next. Meanwhile in #pokrovsk, russia captures Zhelanne Druhe and some reports suggest they also took #Tsukuryne. This puts Russia about 4 miles away from Pokrovsk, a logistical hub which has suffered 80% infrastructure damage from Russia. Everyone knows Pokrovsk's days are numbered. Some say, Donetsk's fate lies with Pokrovsk.
