Kamala, I will NOT kneel.

Kamala Harris is using the race card and being a woman to get elected, inappropriately in my opinion. As a result of growing up in a Detroit suburb, only miles from the Detroit border, black lives matter to me. But as a white, middle-class woman who lifted myself up from the social class for which I was born, I refuse to kneel and declare my white supremacy. ...and what does a supremacist even mean? In my opinion, generally, most people think of white, middle-class men who are NOT responsible for the disadvantage lives of black men. Racism is built into our system. The owners, and those who benefit, from the industrial prison system, for example, are some who are responsible for the demise of the African American male and their families. If the govt. cared about their lives, they would fund real economic development in places like Detroit - not reparations, but opportunity for small businesses to flourish in their towns.
