In this video, we tackle a problem that combines the concepts of Greatest Common Factor (GCF), Least Common Multiple (LCM), and the Distributive Property. We’ll first find the LCM of 6 and 8, then use the distributive property to simplify the sum of the LCM and GCF of these numbers into a product of a sum with no common factor. This problem is perfect for reinforcing multiple key math concepts in one exercise. Aligned with Common Core Standard 6.NS.4, this tutorial is a great resource for mastering GCF, LCM, and the distributive property together!
