As America and Americans are less focused on the "Way, Truth, and LIGHT," we are constantly subjected to another light: Propaganda. Based on the 1944 film "Gaslight," this term is familiar to those on the political right... but increasingly, it is the ONLY thing people on the Left are consuming for "news."
