Psalm 26 is a psalm of King David. David reflects on five main subjects.

Integrity: David affirms his integrity and separation from evildoers. He appeals to God and his own conscience to prove his integrity.

Trust: David expresses his trust in God's grace as his firm foundation. He is confident in God's enduring love and is willing to submit himself entirely to God's examination.

Vindication: David asks God to vindicate him and to show the world that those who trust in God's salvation are doing the right thing.

Love for the tabernacle: David loves the tabernacle, the place where the Lord reveals His glory.

Fear of judgment: David asks God not to be "swept away" by judgment against sinners.

I pray this powerful psalm will inspire you to reflect on your own relationship with God.

Blessings
Pastor David
