What FEMA Is REALLY Doing for Hurricane Helene Survivors...

FEMA is under heavy criticism for their slow response to Hurricane Helene, as many victims in the area share their experiences in dealing with the aftermath of this horrific disaster, and not seeing any federal assistance until more than a week after the event. This has raised concerns about disaster relief and emergency response. After watching the Biden-Harris administration prioritize undocumented migrants and overseas affairs for years, it was especially infuriating to hear from DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas that FEMA doesn't have enough money to get through the rest of hurricane season. Meanwhile, Antony Blinken put out a tweet the next day about sending millions to Lebanon. It seems Americans are the only ones this administration runs out of money for, sparking outrage over government priorities during crisis situations.
