Today’s Uber vlog takes a deep dive into one of my biggest frustrations with rideshare: Uber’s rating system and how it puts drivers like me in a Catch-22. One minute I’m diamond status, and the next I’m downgraded to standard all because of a telematics score that’s impossible to maintain when the app itself limits your chances to improve it. It’s a vicious cycle, and trust me, it feels like a no-win situation every time I try to get back in Uber’s good graces.

Alongside that, I rant about the absurdity of life as a rideshare driver, where you need rides to improve your score, but Uber won’t send you rides if your score dips. Meanwhile, Lyft offers aren’t much better, but at least they’re consistent. It’s not just Uber that’s got me in a bind though—YouTube’s shorts strategy has become another Catch-22. I’m clipping my best moments to make viral shorts, but the platform won’t monetize them if I drop too many F-bombs...and let’s face it, the F-bombs are where the good stuff happens!
