In this video, I will show you how to make a delicious and flavorful Indian dish, paneer tikka masala. This vegetarian dish features marinated paneer cooked in a creamy, spiced tomato-based gravy. It's the perfect combination of tangy, spicy, and creamy and is sure to be a hit at your next dinner party or family meal.

Ingredients:
For Paneer Tikka:
• 400g paneer (cubed)
• 1/2 cup yogurt
• 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tsp red chili powder
• 1/3 tsp turmeric powder
• 1/3 tsp black pepper
• 1/3 tsp garam masala
• 1/2 tsp coriander powder
• 3/4 tsp salt, or to taste
• A pinch of orange food color
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1/3 cup capsicum (cubed)
• 1/3 cup onion petals
For Gravy:
• 2 small onions (finely chopped)
• 1 and 1/2 cups tomato puree
• 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
• 1 tsp paprika powder
• 1/2 tsp black pepper
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
• 1 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 cup yogurt
• 1/3 tsp garam masala
• 1 tsp kasuri methi
• 1 tsp heavy cream
• 1/3 cup oil
• A pinch of orange food color
• Chopped green chili
• Fresh coriander (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Prepare the Paneer Tikka:
• In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, black pepper, turmeric powder, garam masala, coriander powder, orange food color and salt.
• Add paneer cubes to the marinade and mix well to coat the paneer evenly.
• Place a small piece of charcoal directly on a gas flame or heat it using tongs until it becomes red-hot.
• Place a small metal bowl.
• Carefully place the heated charcoal into the bowl.
• Pour a teaspoon of ghee or oil over the hot charcoal. It will start to smoke immediately.
• Quickly cover the bowl with a lid to trap the smoke inside. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes.
• Once the time is up, carefully remove the bowl with the charcoal and discard it.
• Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
• Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a wok over medium heat.
• Add the marinated paneer cubes to the wok and cook until the paneer turns golden brown.
• Add the onion petals, capsicum and cook for a minute.
• Set the cooked paneer aside.

2. Make the Gravy:
• Heat oil in a pan. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn light golden.
• Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 30-40 seconds.
• Add tomato puree , turmeric powder, paprika powder, black pepper and salt. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
• Add yogurt and orange food color. Mix well and cook for 4 minutes.
• Add water and mix well.
• Add the cooked paneer to the gravy. Mix well.
• Cover and cook on low heat for 5 minutes.
• Add garam masala and kasuri methi, chopped green chili and coriander leaves. Mix well.
• Garnish with 1 tsp of cream.
• Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
