Short take: Is 12.5” the new master?

The other day we were going to do some testing of different SBR platforms that are not AR’s and see what kind of accuracy we can reasonably expect. However, when we were getting base line data from different length AR’s, we noticed the 12.5” have surprisingly good velocities and very good accuracy. In fact it was equal to our SR15 16” rifle which is a bit baffling. Watch to the end to see a chart of how it stacked up to other rifles.
