Today, the command and staff exercise with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces "Indestructible Brotherhood-2024" was completed at the training ground "Bereg" of the armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan by conducting a joint operation.

During the exercise, the peacekeeping operation was conducted in order to stabilize the situation in areas of potential conflicts and ensure conditions for their just and peaceful settlement.

The military personnel of the Central Military District as part of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO jointly solved peacekeeping tasks at checkpoints, refugee reception points, patrolled the area, provided humanitarian assistance, evacuated the local population, blocked and captured conditional terrorists.

At the end of the practical action draw, a solemn closing ceremony of the exercise was held at the training ground. The Acting Commander of the Central Military District awarded the most distinguished military personnel participating in the exercise with medals, diplomas and valuable gifts. At the end, the military national contingents of the participating countries marched in a single formation to the music of a military orchestra, the passage of military and special equipment, as well as the flight of aircraft took place.

The command and staff exercise with the Collective Peacekeeping Forces of the CSTO was held at the training ground "Bereg" of the Armed forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was attended by national contingents of the peacekeeping forces of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, operational groups of the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat. In total, more than 2,000 military personnel, 500 armored and automotive vehicles, Mi-17, Mi-35 helicopters, Il-76 and Si-295 aircraft, and unmanned aircraft were involved in the exercise. The basis of the Russian military contingent consisted of units of the 201st Russian military base of the Central Military District: mountain, motorized rifle units, as well as calculations of unmanned aerial vehicles.
