Stand Against Dehumanization: Beirut's Struggle and Our Shared Humanity

This was Beirut last night. The absence of coverage regarding these war crimes highlights the dehumanization of Middle Eastern, Arab, and Muslim individuals in the Western world. Bombing civilians in the dead of night constitutes terrorism. We must confront racism and hold accountable those who perpetuate consent and carry out these atrocities. Furthermore, the willingness to accept falsehoods to rationalize the targeting of civilians endangers us all and our families as global conflicts intensify. Supporting the people of Lebanon and Palestine is a stand for our own humanity and solidarity.
