Remember, not so long ago, when Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer decried illegal immigration as a scourge, a black-and-white issue on which there could be no debate? And how these lawbreaking border-crossers shouldn’t be sanitized as “undocumented?” Well, it turns out that Chuck has had a change of heart and now he wants to find a path to citizenship for the more than 10 million individuals here illegally who are, as he now terms it, “undocumented.”
