First trip to Europe and nightmare in Germany. Hey guys, just a little vlog if you will! So, if you’re thinking about coming to Europe and you’ve never been, like me, I’d advise against changing planes in Frankfurt, Germany. What a [__] show! It’s like they built the airport, then expanded it across freeways and whatnot, so getting around is a nightmare. We had about an hour to catch our next flight, and it felt like we walked 50 miles! You have to go down stairs, get on a bus, walk to the gate, and then hop on another bus. It was a real adventure—one I’d rather not repeat unless absolutely necessary.

Oh, and a quick tip—make sure you bring the right travel charger! You’ll need one that converts your plug into the round one they use here and also allows for 240 volts to switch to 120, so you don’t fry your devices.

Now, let’s talk food! The food here is amazing—seriously, we don’t even realize how much we’re getting jipped back home. The flavors are incredible, and nothing feels overly processed. Even the ketchup here isn’t sweet! And the coffee? Wow. Imagine the best coffee you’ve ever had—it still doesn’t come close to the coffee here. Just plain, everyday coffee is next level.

We’ve only been here a few days, and we’re thinking of hopping on a ferry over to Finland for a day, but we haven’t made final plans yet. We’ll also probably head over to Latvia for a couple of days—not Lithuania, like I keep saying by mistake! I’ll let you know how things go over there.

The people here are super friendly, and the prices are about the same as back home, but the food is just so much better for what you pay. Most people speak English, though you’ll run into some who don’t. But they’re always willing to help, which is great! That being said, we did get jipped by the first cab driver—he charged us $18 for a ride from the airport to the hotel when everyone else only charged $5. I guess some things are universal no matter where you go!

Anyway, that’s it for now. See you in the next video!
