The Gospel of John 21

Jesus asked Simone Peter, the son of Jonah, if he loved Him three times, and each time Peter said, yes. Jesus tells Peter, “Feed My lambs.” The second time Jesus tells Peter, “Tend My sheep.” Third and final time, Jesus tells Peter, “Feed My sheep.” Jesus truly knew Peter’s heart. Jesus tells Peter, “On this rock I will build my church.” One church, One God, One savior. A saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. Yet Jesus did not say to him that he would not die, but, “If I will that he remain till I come, what is that to you?” One of his disciple maybe with us today when Jesus returns to retain his glory and shine the light in the darkness of this world.
