I made this shelter for Tux that's at the top of the grade between the creek/river and the tree under which I usually feed him. I thought that he might want to use it during the rainy season, but it's not clear to me how much he used it. There was only one time that I visited him that he may have been inside.

He wasn't particularly interested in trying it out on this first day, but I soon realized that I could get him to go inside to realize its superior benefits when it was raining when I came by to feed him -- I would put the food in the back of the shelter and he'd go right inside to eat.

This training also proved INCREDIBLY useful the day that I "captured" him in my carrier to take him off to get neutered. I'll leave that story for that video, which you can also find on this channel.
