Ep. 225 Joker: Folie à Deux (One of the WORST films ever made… A MIDDLE FINGER to the audience!)

Sweet Mother Mary Joseph… #jokerfolieadeux has got to be one of the WORST films ever made… And if you’re paying attention, I’m clearly not alone in thinking so…

But why? Who? When… Where? What on God’s green Earth was this movie made for? Who was it made for…? And then it hit me. It’s quite simple. All one needs to do is think to the first #joker film…

What made the first movie so great was its gratitude in a way, to the what? The villain. We all know who The Joker is… And what Todd Phillips gave us (Amongst a $1 BILLION dollar movie…) was a unique origin story. A story of chaos. A story of one man’s struggle to find his place in the world… Albeit in the complete opposite direction of civilized society!

And the fans LOVED IT! Even the real world played ‘victim’ to the popularity and spat out risk of cities burning in the mayhem of anarchy…

And now we get #joker2. We get a story of what happens when you go against the ‘norm’. When you go against the what? Civilized society… Where though FICTION, metaphorically speaking, the producers and directors basically gave the audience a MIDDLE FINGER and said, “No, do not idolize anarchy. Do not have your own individual thought.”

And by golly if that doesn’t have relevance today no?

Where one of history’s most important elections of all time is less than one month away…

It’s honestly astonishing to think about! But hey, if these studios wish to metaphorically shoot themselves in the foot, who are we to stop them?

I’d simply tell you this… DO NOT go and waste not only your time, but your money on this film. It brings only disappointment and will genuinely ruin whatever made special the first Joker movie. It’s complete and utter trash!
