I have not been posting many videos lately because preparing for my cross-country move and dealing with #Tux's recovery from my brief time away attending to the move have been extremely time-consuming and stressful.

#Tux has nearly fully recovered from whatever (environmental?) trauma that he incurred during my eight days away, up until a week ago. Although it took him about 48 hours at my home for his health to improve rather than get worse, he's doing remarkably well and is pretty much back to normal.

(Very) unfortunately, we are no closer to finding him a temporary or permanent home than we've been since starting around March 1 when we brought him in from the street to be neutered and given many weeks to recover, after which he had to be returned to the outdoors.

I really, really, really wish that I had better news. It's totally unclear if we have any choice but to return him to the environment that challenged him so much during my short absence. For me to take him with me would be a hardship for all involved in at least the short-term, but isn't entirely 100% out of the question. I do feel that #Tux remaining here and being returned to the outdoor could be a death-sentence for him, and that's not something that I want to have to carry around with me the rest of my life. This is a horrible position to be in, frankly.
