I’ve gained weight and I don’t like it | Maintaining fitness in your 30s

For the first time in my life, I gained weight. I don’t like it. I never had to deal with this problem before and could always rely on my fast metabolism to remain fit and skinny.

For the past couple of years, I’ve been really paying attention to my diet, my daily activity and fluctuations in weight. I can clearly see that I need to put more effort not just to reach my goals but also to keep my body functioning properly.

That’s why I am increasing the amount of workouts I do during the week but also will start lifting weights which is something I hated to do all my life.

I will document my progress so you can see how much stronger I get and I’ll take some photos before and after just so you can see that it’s not just talking.
