Hey friends, Leigh Brown here, coming at you from our donation drop-off site, right here in Concord, where we’re getting supplies straight to the victims of the Western NC mountains. For everyone asking, YES—every single dollar you’ve donated is being spent. We’ve got shoppers out right now grabbing essentials, and I’m working through as much as I can, y’all! . Big shout-out to all who’ve given so far—we just bought a whole pallet of chain saws and it’s headed straight to the forgotten areas, not just the big cities. We hear you, we see you. We’ve got drop-off points, road access - thanks to local mayors, sheriffs, and the National Guard, and we’re laser-focused on getting what’s truly needed to those who need it most. . Biggest needs right now? Diapers, water, water, water, formula, batteries, and see things like mops, brooms, and gloves. We’re not even at the clean-up stage yet, folks—we’re still out there looking for people, reuniting families. It’s hard to believe, but there are kids out here with no clothes on, truing to find their parents. It’s heartbreaking. You wouldn’t believe it unless you saw it. . BUT! Here’s where the good comes in. We had a whole semi-truck donated by Shoe Show, and it’s FULL. We’re already prepping for another. I’ll be sharing links so you can keep donating—whether it’s dollars or items from an Amazon wishlist. Whatever we can’t use ourselves will go to trusted hands like Samaritan’s Purse or the Baptist Coalition, so nothing goes to waste. . Your generosity has already delivered 11 loads of essentials—water, formula, diapers—into the hardest-hit areas. And we’re not stopping, y’all. These are our neighbors, and we’re all in this together. Doesn’t matter where you’re from—this could be your community next, so let’s keep helping where we can. .
