How to Make a 100 Pound DIY PVC Crossbow

I proudly introduce the 100 pound PVC crossbow. This is the full build plus the introduction.

It's a pretty powerful crossbow with a 100 pound prod, PVC stirrup, captive rest and a simple lever trigger. It's nice and stable because the bolt nocks directly onto the string and is held in the front with a captive rest. This allows the crossbow to be fired sideways and upside-down.

I'll be posting the build-along very soon, so stay tuned!

Thanks for watching and enjoy.

One thing to note is that a crossbow like this is about comparable to a 30-35 pound recurve bow. That said, it is not hunting legal in many places but is still a pretty powerful weapon and should be treated with care and respect.
