Getting Caught Up | Ryan Noggle episode

Ryan Noggle is a TV writer and producer and, in this episode, talks about his musical 'Charlie Hu$tle,' about the life of notorious baseball legend Pete Rose. Noggle discusses how rehearsals for the musical officially began the day before Rose died on Sept. 30, 2024. 'Charlie Hu$tle' has been a passion project for Noggle, who grew up as a Reds fan two hours outside of Cincinnati in rural Indiana, has been working on the musical for 11 years. He explains why after years of work, he scrapped all of his original songs and completely started over, talks about meeting with Rose while researching the project and shares the one piece of advice Rose gave him on how to approach the musical. In addition, Noggle is the founder of 'Survivor in a Day,' a backyard version of the popular TV game show 'Survivor,' as well as a former NBC Page.
