Just Five Days After The Civil War Ended…
It was the crime of the 19th century and spawned one of the most notorious trials in American History. President Abraham Lincoln was gunned down by actor John Wilkes Booth while attending Ford’s Theatre. The assassination has always been examined by historians as an act of political post-war terrorism, committed by a fanatic who the Confederacy may have sponsored. But rarely has Lincoln’s death been investigated by detectives as a murder case.

Watch JT Townsend discard the myths and legends surrounding the assassination while excavating the truth about the conspiracy to kill Lincoln. With stunning images and riveting content, the author of “Queen City Notorious” and “Queen City Gothic” solves the mystery that still surrounds the death of our most beloved president.
