The Quran teaches that Jesus is merely a prophet and denies His eternal Sonship. In Surah 4:171, Jesus is called a messenger and a word from God, but not divine. Additionally, Surah 5:116 grossly misrepresents Christian beliefs, suggesting that Jesus and Mary are worshipped as gods alongside Allah, a clear distortion. Islam rejects the truth of the Trinity and the eternal pre-existence of Christ, which directly contradicts the Bible's teaching that Jesus is the Son of God from eternity, existing before creation.
