On Day 239 of my sobriety journey, I tuned in to Dan Vasc's powerful rendition of "Zombie," originally by The Cranberries and covered by Bad Wolves. Before diving into the music, I shared some personal reflections on the war in Ireland during the early '90s, a time of great unrest that made lasting impressions on my younger self. Seeing those images on the news and in the papers was deeply distressing.

I also touched on the kind comments I’ve been receiving, encouraging me to seek Jesus and Christianity. While I appreciate the intent and kindness behind these suggestions, I explained that as someone living in Sri Lanka with a Buddhist family, my spiritual path is already clear. Buddhism resonates with me and aligns with the culture and beliefs of my family and the country I now call home. So, there's no need to worry about my faith—I’m in a good place.

As for the music, Dan Vasc delivered an incredible cover of "Zombie." His vocals and passion truly bring out the emotion in this song, and I was thoroughly impressed. At the end, he asked what the latest track that moved me was, and without hesitation, I said "Danielle (Smile On My Face)" by Fred again.. That track really hits the spot!

Thanks again to everyone who’s supporting the channel—it means the world!
