There is a food security crisis in America. From a reduction in food to a lack of health in the food currently available, this crisis is only worsening. Until our government starts enacting policy that promotes a fair and non-monopolized marketplace in the cattle industry, we will continue to lose producers and become more dependent on foreign imports. A few giant associations - including the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association ( NCBA) - lobby and dominate the cattle industry. The public must be engaged, and local producers must be supported. FLCCC Senior Fellow Dr. Brooke Miller explains more.
