BITS Limited Smart Power Strip for Controlling Home Theater Component Power-Unboxing & Installation

This video shows my latest method of turning on auxiliary components when my Home Theater system turns on using the Logitech Harmony Elite universal remote.

When my receiver turns on, I want the sub-woofer, Chromecast Ultra 64, and an auxiliary ambient light (which I think makes viewing videos more pleasant) to also turn on.

My old receiver had a switched outlet on the back, but my new Denon AVR-X4700H doesn't.

As you can see in my earlier videos, I first tried a Tricklestar "smart" power strip. After about a month that failed.
My second attempt was using a Samsung "SmartThings" plug. "SmartThings" is the only device system controllable by the Harmony Elite universal remote.

That worked for a year or two, but apparently Samsung decided it may or may not want to be in the "Smart" device business. The plug stopped working and I wasn't able to delete and re-add it nor delete and re-add the "SmartThings" hub.
