As we bring in the Jewish New Year…

It’s a time for deep reflection, renewal, and hope for peace. Traditionally, a period where we look inward- focus on personal growth, & wish for a better world for all people. However, as we enter this New Year, I can only pray that my community look outward.

The need for peace, justice & understanding has never been greater. We must remember that the path to lasting peace begins with addressing the root causes of conflict & oppression. We must cut through the noise, the hypocrisy & the propaganda.

As Elhanan Beck aptly said:
"The problem here is not religion... The problem here is OCCUPATION."

Let this be a call to work towards a future where dignity, equality, & peace are not just aspirations, but realities for all.
